Another One...

Nope.

Hopefully Stormcat's car is in that batch.

Nothing solid on my delivery date as of yet... Hoping to go see the car when it's being built.. !!

- if not I'll be tempted to say screw it, and head straight for the track!

Truth. If I see it no way I could wait to have it wrapped.

Dr Frank says he & Stormy switched dates so 2018 for Stormcat! LOL

I'm a huge fan of Todd Cooperider at Esoteric detail (he went over my 2005 GT with his color correction treatment right before Rally 10, and basically made it look new again after 10 years and 28,000 miles). I was seriously thinking of having my car delivered straight to his shop for road prep, but he's only 120 miles south in Columbus. Maybe I'll have him come up to your shop Dave (he flies all over the country to work on high-end collections). I think he can do protection film, too, but if not I'll have your guy do that after he gives the paint his full treatment.

Then, if it's road-ready in Detroit, that's a great excuse to see the U.S.A. in my non-Chevrolet as I drive it back to SoCal. :biggrin

I love it when a plan comes together. :thumbsup

These cars are being formally delivered here. The delivering dealer gets paid for his time and effort no matter where the car goes (your house, his place, this place, a racetrack, wherever). So if you want to have it delivered here and come see it offloaded, then have it all prepared before it gets to you, that's fine by me. The owner of the blue car brought his family for delivery, the Concierge and product specialist schooled him on the ins and outs (Lynsey from the videos you've seen and Bernardo, who has a racing background. I think he raced with Joey Hand at one point), owner came back the next day to watch some of the clear bra application and ogle it, then headed off for a vacation. So it will be all ready to go when he comes back.

Either way, Reliable is the carrier that is moving the cars to the end user, and I assume Tom has a number of trucks and drivers specifically dedicated to GT deliveries, so the additional offload would be 1 trip. I do know for a fact however that Ford is trying to batch cars geographically, so coming here could either be a monkey wrench or a benefit. There is a truck delivering 3 Florida GTs in the next week or two...

If Ford wants to start offering it as a pre-delivery service, they can all come here and it will be easier for everyone. :biggrin

I know I would be interested in doing this. Great suggestion.

Car cover for the blue car arrived. Really nice. Almost as nice as the CF covers...

Dave: Are we allowed to watch our GT being built at MultiMatic? Thanks.

All I know one is a Shadow Black Heritage. No idea where they are going.

That's probably coming to the other Miami owner. I will verify

It's not. I know the owner of that car.

Dave It must feel Christmas morning everyday in your garage as the presents are unwrapped.
