Awesome. Another reason for me to go to Monterey this year.

BTW, that's the first time I've seen the rear spoiler retract in "real time" (they tried to show it on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway video but it didn't really work).

Note how you can see it when the second shot starts of the GT far away, and you can juuuust make it out over the roof as the car comes straight on (and looks really frickin' cool at that moment) then it quickly drops as the car slows and pulls off the road. Pretty amazing display of active aero...

I've driven over the Bixby Bridge more times than I can think about. I took Vince GT, Piana & Triheart over it last year.

Clarkson was fired after the steak-incident. The TG trio are now Rory Reid (also a rather big person), Chris Harris and Matt LeBlanc. But most driving/filming on TG is performed by stand ins, there is even a specialized company doing this work. Only at the end the presenters are filmed in 1 or 2 runs and edited in.

Hard to think of a prettier place to drive than Big Sur. Went there for my bride's birthday some years ago. We loved it.
If I had a new GT same time as you (hint...hint...) I would ship it out there to join you!
