I've stayed at that hotel. The chef is excellent. Bony will love the armadillo and the wine list. But he's definitely got to get the wheels painted in Gulf orange, otherwise his new supercar won't fit in. :biggrin

I am presently holding 5 2007 Shelby GT500, which we are using in a new movie for Warner Bros. which will be released sometime in the summer of 2007. Because of the action involved with the GT500's, I had to modify 3 cars. ie...welding, and a lot of changes to the cars in order for them to do a particular stunt, like jumping out of a showroom window, etc..etc..
When the movie is finally done, these cars would probably fetch good $...but because of the Liability issues, Ford will crush them. These cars are serialized vehicles, and another reason to dispose of them I believe has to be the research $, plus the adverisement $, which are deducted from the overall budget of the Ford Shelby. So Ford is not really that crazy. There is more than one reason to dispose of these vehicles. It just makes a lot of $ and cents to do this. It helps in the advertisement of the product, and it is totally tax deductible. As far as the GT on the roof.....you can deduct that since it was a research vehicle, it will unfortunately be crushed...sorry GTJOEY.....

Ok, so 5-3=2 Shelbys left over. How do I get my hands on a red one? No boxcar pricing available? Maybe you'll be shipping one via Luftansa? Do I need to call my buddy Buster? You know the teflon Don was here pretty close to me for a long time.
Thanks for the insite on the roof cars, I always wondered. What would happen if I drove over to the plant for photos of my GT next to the plant would they let me in?

You know whats great about this forum , we start with a basic question, we get through the filthy stuff, end up talking about food, move the thread to somewhere else, then we are selling used gt mustangs.... isnt this great. I'm trying to provide a semblence of continuity for the several million hits the site gets a month.
p.s, I got the Indy museum tickets. Wish I had the rest to send out!
