How Many left?

I want to be like you when I grow up!

Seriously...
Not to mention, I didn't realize GT Joey's stamp of approval was so valuable.

This is why we're in such doo doo! :biggrin:cheers

It's good to see the brilliance hasn't faded!!!

Look at the date on the post you quoted :lol The guy that had it was actually right around the corner for us. Changed hands a couple times since he had it back then and got painted blue after he sold it.

Ahhh, yeah. That explains it. Nevermind.

Hello Jeff, are you still collecting pics of all vin's with pic of the car ?

Felix -

Yes, I am still collecting VINs, photos, and owner information. My Database indicates there were only TWO GTs built with your option combination.
I have a photo of your car on the line at Wixom. Please email a current photo of your car to me, and I'll email a copy of this in-plant photo to you.

regards,

Jeff Burgy

....well you can count this Ford GT out for the scrapyard...maybe....or maybe not. Hopefully the passenger is doing well. http://m.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Gorgeous-400-000-car-smashed-in-Marina-9198742.php

I hope the air bags worked as well.

Him and Paul Krugman. I shake my head in disbelief.

I get annoyed when people say, "A wrecked one means yours is worth more."

That's like saying, "A museum fire means the surviving van Goghs are worth more."

How about we just be mindful with all the van Goghs, and try our best to not make them any more valuable, kay?

What happens to the GT in this situation? The owner gets paid for it to be totaled and then insurance auctions it?

If my FGT were ever totaled, I would buy it back cheap. Then buy a replacement crate chassis and rebuild it.

Unfortunately many who own these cars don't care for them as they should and don't see them as "Van Goghs". Money doesn't always equate to brains.

Sterile fact is the less of these special cars exist the survivors become more valuable. As they say every dark cloud has a silver lining.

Did you get a look at his shitty garage?

I rest my case.

My only question is how did that A hole get into the GT in that pig sty?

Whoever wrote that piece has excellent taste ("blue/white is the best spec")
