Learned some info in talking to someone from Ford today at Laguna Seca.
1) 6 hand picked delivery people, ie....people with lots of track experience will be delivering the cars to owners
2) delivery will be based on weather. They will not be delivering cars to owners when the weather is under 40 degrees.
3) They will not be "storing" cars. Your car will be built in a timeline of your climate of delivery location
4) Cars have active exhaust
5) After you place your order, something very cool will be mailed out :)

Has to do with the tires, and they can crack in very cold temps, same thing is happening with the Gt350r's

Well then, those of us in Scottsdale Arizona have a 365 day a year delivery window. Let's roll!!!

While waiting to go on the pre race parade lap in LeMans the driver of our Focus RS told me this is the cover of a book that will be given to every NGT owner upon delivery with the metal engraved plate. He is a journalist working with the company that is producing this for Ford. Sorry for the poor picture taken with my cell phone of his cell phone.

That's pretty cool. Throw in one of those killer blue and white "Le Mans GT" watches and we are all set!

I understand the tires will also melt at temps over 120 degrees. So anytime between June and Sept you're out of luck Chip. LOL

Same here in central Kalifornia... Just a few degrees cooler than AZ. We are always below the melting temps unlike AZ :rofl

They screwed that up. It's 50 mm, not 15 mm.

More than 2800 lbs!

We should start a Forum pool to see who comes closest to guessing the curb weight. Dave, CobraR and their cronies would be excluded of course.
