That image is from the time they did it in 1966. I was down at WHQ last night and they changed the wording a little bit this time. I'll post a few pictures later, after the announcement from Ford.

Ah, nope. That photo is 50 years old, trees planted in front of the building now obscure the entire lower left hand corner. I know that because we/Ford did it again last night. ;-))

There may be some good photos (unobstructed) coming from the Detroit News and/or Ford Corporate as well. There was/were drone shot(s) taken that should mitigate the trees. There was some discussion about heading over to Home Depot for a chain saw, but was later thought to be inappropriate. ;-))

Here are some pix from the event yesterday that were sent to me. Note the flag. We got to hear the story about this from Mose Nowland at R10. This flag was "stolen" just after the victory in 66. It was given to the teams to take back to France for good luck. It was on display yesterday now framed for permanent display. There are pictured here, if I recall, of the presentation of the flag to the team this past spring. Hopefully it goes to the Henry Ford so we can see it some day, with the 68 car, when it is retired (I'm speculating that this will be the cars long term home).

Note car is wearing the 66, as it has raced now twice since LeMans, here (WGI, Mosport).
