Thanks to Ford got the chance to look around the new race car and the heritage collection. Took my '05 down. Amazing how much lower the new car is!

That's cool! I saw the pics on IG and wondered where the blue car came from.

Very cool.

Would love to see all the cars Ford keeps under wraps from the past.

I'll dig out some others later, but it runs from the Model T to the latest Mustang. GT70 anyone? :)

It's been rumored that Ford has a stash of "in the wrapper" 2005/2006 FGT's put away somewhere. Can anyone confirm the rumor?

Can you qualify "Ha"?

Sorry, not IG, went back and looked and it was actually Jay's Twitter. I swear I saw someone else retweet it, thought it might have been Marino or Andy.

Ford corporate has a limited amount of cars, but they have been merciless with them. They had a black one that was outside at the now-FP office for years that I haven't seen in a while; a red one that was outside at the DDC that was also outside for years. They have a legit heritage that was used for shows (Ice 9 Customs somehow had that car for a while) and a repainted franken-heritage. Most of the cars they had left are all gone. For awhile they had a black car and a yellow car that had both been involved in more than one colorful incident that have since been sold. Couple others that were brought up to snuff and sold.

I would say the closest you could consider to "in the wrapper" would be Edsel and Henry's cars, which are both very low mile, but those are personal cars. Bill's car has a bunch of miles.

Cool, got it. Handy that Jay is really tall so he could get a good overall shot :)

I climbed up a set of wobbly steps but the old wages office was in the way. Good overview though.

Oh and 10 points if you can name all the GT models in the shot ;-)
