Yes, you will see some information on that very shortly.

My guess is 17k [emoji3]

The "claim to fame" for most of us will be that would have bought one but our application was not accepted. :thumbsup

Put me down for 20,000.

More interesting would be the number of applications that mention ownership of another Ford resp Ford GT. Guess it will be significantly lower :wink

That will definitely be the " X FACTOR" in this process for sure...

The number of fully completed applications was 6,506.

Fully completed? Explain please

Better odds than anticipated

Fully completed? Explain please

All requisite boxes checked, fields filled in, successfully submitted.

Not bad...1 in 13 chance.

6506? That begs the questions; how many are GT owners? How many from forum members? & how many @$$hats from Fchat fouled up the application?

Quite a bit fewer than I expected

Any idea of the number by country?

Primarily Canada, so I can judge my odds.

Does anybody know if people will have to "re-apply" for the next allocation or is this it?

Thanks,

B

Encouraging. !! Fewer than I originally thought .. but if you take a breath, sit back and 'say $450,000.00' , it makes sense.
This may make the 'sorting task' for the team a bit easier.

Dave. Any idea the size of the team reviewing the applications for Ford?

The number of fully completed applications was 6,506.

W O W!!! That's great! Thanks for sharing, Dave!

No breakdown by country, but simply by virtue of where the last GT went, I expect the stiffest competition to be in the U.S.

The good news is, I feel very confident a good number of our members will get cars over the next several years. Ford spent a lot of time, effort and money to design and implement this process, and it wasn't so they could allocate cars off a secret list. I'm sure, out of necessity, the review process is being handled by a very small number of people.

Good luck everyone!
