Valve Stem Covers

Dropped my son off at his RC Club in the FGT. Came back out and some Kids had stole the valve covers off the tires.mad

Does anyone know where to get the original long tube valve covers? Or should I just try the local FORD dealer?

Same thing happen'd to me a year ago. You can get them from either Ford dealers or BBS wheel dealers.

I don't believe the valve stem covers are sold separately thru Ford without purchasing all the valve stems. you might try BBS first like someone said.

I tried BBS... like beating your head against a rock...


If you really want BBS caps, call Scott or Torrie and get the stems et al. That is what I did ~ 3 yrs ago........

Those are for the base wheels that use rubber valve stems.

Any BBS wheel using metal stems has the same cap as our GT option wheels. My 2016 Miata has the same caps, so you can steal mine if you see me. ;}

EDIT: I see the OP said "long tube," so that link is exactly what he needs, although at an insane price. For option wheels, the caps are readily available. It would make more sense to install metal valve stems in the base wheels than to buy one of those plastic caps.

When you get the caps, if you use a small wrench it is easy to tighten them beyond finger removal, which in most cases is all you need to prevent further losses.

Valve stem caps need to pass the audition! lol. Seriously, BBS did not create valve stem caps specifically for the Ford GT. The same caps are being used today on BBS wheels.

BTW, $15 minimum order.

I don't care if they were made specifically for our wheels. I just don't want them to be plastic POS knockoffs.
