Ford GT Celebration at the 2015 Carlisle Ford Nationals

As of yesterday afternoon, our car now sitting facing the GT-40.

First ones here. ( How rare is that? )

C'mon down. Lance and Ken have done a fabulous job!

Arrived today. Already meeting forum and other friends. So far...Northwood GT, Pe2unia, Bill Nelson, Big Inch Blake, Dr. Frank, Lance (and Bill) Miller, GT Joey, Don Larson. Dinner with Sinovac tonight. The GT Guys tent is set up for work.

Yeah, the cars are way cool, but the people are way cooler.

Glad everyone made it there safe, I'll be driving up tomorrow morning from NoVA and will catch you all there!

We pull into town. I'm telling my son Patrick to look at all the mustangs and first car we see is a white GT with a 1 on it. Now that's a cool thing.

Sure hope we're almost done with the rain and cold weather for you guys. Let the sun come out!

Some pictures from last night

Dominic

Been a great gathering. Getting to see a lot of old friends and meet a lot of new ones. The Carlisle staff has been the best.

Lance and Ken have been outstanding hosts at the Carlisle event. they've gone way out of their way to help everyone at the show. first class all the way! met a lot of people who I can now put names with faces. some outstanding characters for sure! I appreciate all the sales this weekend and all the contacts I have made. the Robertsons are just generous incredible people who make everyone comfortable as well not to mention the hospitality in their semi trailer lounge with the A/C on and adult libations. first class as well! so many incredible cars I have never seen before. WOW! if you didn't make the show you missed a dandy. people were in awe to just to see one GT much less a whole building full and rows outside. incredible Italian dinner served Friday night to all with an open bar and canolies for dessert. right in the middle of parked Ford GTs. thought I went to heaven early!!! what a blast! thanks to all for an incredible time! The GT Forum VIP lounge was a great hit as well. people enjoyed all weekend! Classy!!!

How many showed up?

How many showed up?

There were 20 GTs or so and others like me who were GT-less. Xcentric was as short as I remember him and Cobrar as smart as I recall. It was nice to make new friends too.

With the race cars there were 42 FGT's and 2 GT 40's. Good turn out.

What's the story on the #4white/yellow combo car? Interesting and different.

Also the flat silver combo? Anybody in the know?

Sunday morning... Just wanted to drop online prior to the fun today and say THANK YOU! It's been a fun time getting to know those that I met for the first time and enjoying time with those I've been fortunate to meet in the past. We're fortunate to own these incredible cars, but the people behind the wheel is what makes them so special. On behalf of the Carlisle Events team - THANK YOU!!!!

We'll have plenty of pictures down the road...

Life is good,

Lance

Congrats Terry and Andy on two of the three best modified GT's this year!

What's the story on the #4 white/yellow combo car? Interesting and different....

It looks like Camilo's car with the center hood section re-done in an orange/yellow - and the black on the top of the front fenders moved back behind the wheel wells.

Amazing the variations you can do with wraps.
