I personally do not like the pin stripes

I prefer the stripes without the white pinstripe border, too, but I can see why people might feel a need to "freshen up" the same old stripe look.

Pinstripes look good on some combos, not all. Hopefully an easy peel off vinyl. The Vinyl OEM stripes are not cheap, don't want to eff them up.

With the newish process of hydrodipping, I would gravitate towards a CF look on lower skirts and diffusers......or real CF on those parts.
12' GT500s have better lower skirting than the more desirable 13/14' IMO.

Some additional R photos.

Ok, Avalanche with white/red stripes isn't too bad. Post a picture of a yellow car with the black/red stripes.

I wouldn't have guessed that the gray would look as good as it does. The photo really doesn't do the color justice, it somehow makes it look 'even more substantial' than it is. The pinstripe/main stripe also just happens to work well with the other red accents on the car, ties it all together.

Best part about the gray, is you can actually drive (read: enjoy) the car and NOT have to continuously wash/wax it. And white, like my '95R does not let you see any of the bodylines, but all of the dirt. The photos above were taken just after the car wash, so I was able to see before and after. ;- ))

I'll have to look at my photos, I know that I have a yellow with black stripes, but I don't recall if it is an R.

I cant decide what color to get White and stripe it out or black and just paint the car the color I want anyway ( LIQUID BLUE !!! ) come on ford. :bang

From the chart, it appears there are no "R" exclusive colors, unlike the Boss 302 LS.

Too bad competition orange isn't available on the R. Wimbledon White would have been a good choice for an R exclusive color.

That is a bit of a puzzler. Not that they'll have a hard time selling the R, but availability of Whimbeldon white seems a no brainer.

:agree:

Told you it was too cheap.

About $65k for a loaded R. Where do I sign?

Gimme some HP/TQ numbers.

Base car with the Track Package is a screaming bargain.

The way I read your post #280 , it shows in chart form the both the 350 & the 350R get the same color options? Where did I miss the R not getting the Orange?

Orange may require a non-black wheel to avoid the Halloween look often seen on Vipers.

No comp Orange on R.
