I just received an email from the forum saying someone had tried logging into my account here. The IP address is from China.

Just a heads up for anyone with simple passwords.

NBD, I got a letter from the IRS asking about "my" return that I didn't file yet!

Visa card today... MY card used 5 times in Royal Oak Michigan and in Warran Michigan.
first time approved... final 4 tries my Bank cut the SOB's OFF and they scampered..
But it now means all new cards needed.

As long as your password is secure, not much to worry about. I manually authorize every account, we use security questions, etc and vB locks out after 5 attempts so it's extraordinarily unlikely a brute force attempt to get into an account will work unless your password is...password. Was hoping it'd be over by now, but I guess I'll just have to ban China for a couple weeks.

:lol Yes, happened to me 2 x in the last month or so. Just watch next year you will see a new Ford GT copy from China :lol

Mine too last week. But the IPS address was from Go Daddy in Scottsdale.

Mine was last week....IP in Brazil.

Not just the FGT forum, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield got hacked in several states:
CA, CO, CT, GA, IN, KY, ME, ME, MO, NV, NH, NY, OH, VA and WI.
If your company contracts with them for health insurance, heads up !

I had a message like that about a week and a half ago.

The people who oversee my 'card have headed off every scumbag who has ever attempted to hijack it. 'Never have approved a dime.

They had new cards to me within 48 hours.

Is that because they know ANY use is fraudulent?

'Card number isn't "1079"...so, no, I don't think so. :slap

I received the message last week, how do you determine where the IP address came from?

You can google the IP address # and get the origin of the IP address
