Nah, just funnin 'ya. The interesting thing about driving at that place, is that it seems nearly impossible to duplicate one of your own laps, much less get a comparable one to another car.
My memory of a typical visit is of finally getting one decent lap, then followed by some really bad laps. Just when you think you can optimize some section of the track, or achieve any kind of repeatability, you drive too far into one corner, and ......et.al. One mistake just kills you, it about 14 miles around. The locals have a huge advantage that visitors do not enjoy.
In this regard, I highly recommend the Cockpit Bar, conveniently located at the neighboring Nurburgring F1 track. You can drink your way to record times. :biggrin
