I think the 458 is a good looking car but definitely has some funky areas.

I think this car blows the 458 away, and looks like it belongs in the same class as LaFerrari and the P1, not the 458 and 650S.

Hopefully it's priced closer to the latter two.

Male eyes naturally like taught curvaceous forms; not cinched, jagged, abrupt forms.

Design is utterly modern.

^ I've agreed with you on the modern F cars for some time.

The only esthetic flaw in my eyes is the new car is a bit too long behind the rear wheel when viewed in profile. I am sure it is an aerodynamic issue but I like the shorter overhang of our current cars better.

Funny, I said the same thing when I looked at it.

Yeah scale is abit off there, closer to S7 or 917 inspiration

Somewhere in the middle. I'll assert it may be the best in class gas powered vehicle but wouldn't compete with the hybrid assisted cars. If it approaches them then Ford has an absolute winner at Le Mans.

So what you are saying is my preference of the curvier Ferraris over the sharp lines of the Lamborghini is chromosome driven?

I think the "Ugly Aero Era" of Supercars is over!

Not sure where it started....with Enzo/Veyron, then accelerated with Koenigsegg, Pagani, and even Audi R8.; with every exotic car creating mutant/cretin stylings, from Ferrari to Aston, and McLaren slapping winglets, slits, ducts and slit-eye lights everywhere.

These homely exotics will not be on lawn of Pebble in 50yrs; more like 90s XJ220s or 80s spoiler kits mothballed.

Where can I find that pic in good resolution?

It was the Ford Racing Facebook page header. I couldn't find it on the media.ford.com site so I've asked a buddy over there to find it and when he does I'll link it. That would be a phenomenal showroom piece for your dealership.

?? Do you have to lie down in it a la F1 car??? Can't imagine it being lower.

No, I watched the driver get in and out several times and saw him seated like a normal human being.
