The car got a remote tune from Torrie on thursday morning and after all stress and panic because of all issues we faced (laptop crashes and high on exhaust), he finally did his magic and the result on a Mustang Dynamometer is:

735whp
830wnm all on 93 pump gas.

That is according to the experts 813whp and 917wNm on a DynoJet.
The best part is the drivability of the car, very happy with the result.

This would not be possible without you guys in this Forum:

Kendall and Ryan Pond at CoolTech LLC that helped me out with a complete package :biggrin
Mark M a.k.a. Fubar for the detailed info Thanks again Mark :wink
Torrie McPhail, he must be the David Copperfield of the Flashing World. Thanks for not freaking out because of our delay and lap top issues  :biggrin

nice. congratulations, just in time for spring.

Congratulations!!! are you runnin a 3.75" pulley on your whipple and how much boost are you makin?

Freddy, yes that is the 19PSI pulley. But we saw 23 PSI on the boostmeter.
I made some minor mods on the airbox, dont know if that is why or because there was low temp during the dyne.

Torrie can correct me if I am wrong. :)

Way to go GTS! Now it's whole different car to drive eh!

You were damn right about that !!! Remember you told me that on PM.
It's a completely animal !!! :)

Enjoy the new found power. Use it wisely! :biggrin

These are always fun project to say the least and the output is great as well given the dyno used. Glad you are happy with it and RE what Dave says above !!

Nice numbers. What mods did you make to the airbox?

We made dual 3" circle holes in the bottom on each side with heat protection, I believe it is around 10-15" between the exhaust system which is ceramic coated and the air box, when we made the pull on the dyne we saw that she was sucking air from both the originally designed holes and also the new ones.

The SC came with 19psi but we saw 23-24psi from 4000rpm. Don't know if it is because the new holes or if it was around 10 degrees celcius when pulling her on the dyno.
It was a big surprise :)

congrats on the numbers

drive it well

I made similar modifications to my airbox, but cut the holes in the front sections facing the crossmember as I do not have heat shields or coating on the cats.

It would be interesting to dyno with the holes both open and closed to see what the difference is if any.

I agree on dyno it before and after, but I was in Sweden just for a week so the time was not enough.
But I belive that any extra hole will make a small difference, the OEM design is really a bottleneck when adding more PSI with a SC.

:)

Someone has been making other Swedes deaf:)

I always thought this was the reason for the intake air connector collapse.

You can sure the light at the end of the tunnel. StormCat has a similar favorite spot under the inland waterway. He pulls into a 7-11 parking lot, waits for the light to change, and punches it through the tunnel.

The extra holes in the air box sounds like a good idea. If someone has a picture - please post it.
