Everybody keeps talking about red being the most-produced color, but on my option breakdown sheet from my Certificate of Authenticity package, it says that in 2006, there were FAR more Tungsten cars produced (541, to 348 red). For that matter, the Heritage Blue wasn't far behind the red, at 343.
Unfortunately, that is about the only piece of paper that arrived intact from my whole Certificate of Authenticity package, which arrived on my doorstep sometime last week, in a thin cardboard envelope, in a small snowdrift on my doorstep. It was all completely soggy and disintegrated. I wish Ford packaged such valuable documents better (or send it with signature on delivery)- I figured they could just print me off another window sticker, but they said that there were only two stickers produced for each car, and they just sent me out the second one (and Lord only knows where the original one is). And they don't keep that info stored somewhere, so I may be SOL....
First, you are right. In 2005 there were more reds. Everyone gets hung up on numbers. And while I think the Heritage is cool cuz I have one, I still don't understand the high premium they get. There were fewer yellow ones as I recall...
Second, ping Ford on the package. They will replace it. Send them a picture. If they hassle you I think maybe Marcie can helpI'm guessing they will want the damaged set back.
My mom and sister just moved from North Sioux to Sioux Falls.
It really sucks to be where winter exists.
Can I get a certificate even if I'm second owner of the car ?
Who do I call to get a certificate ?
