Yes. The host hotel is 4 miles from my house. I'll be out and about in the evening time each night.

I met you at Hennesseys place at the one they had in 2010. That was the year it rained, which sucked, and I didnt make the next one. If I do go, I will be at Frankenstiens where the bikini contest is about 2 hours ahead of time. That place was crazy to try to find a seat, or even a place to stand for that matter.
I also remember the Supra starting up and taking off on its own and ramming into a wall at the hotel, that could have been nasty.

I had never heard of this but have been waiting to drive MSR H-town. I have a sister in law in Lake Jackson so I'm going to try and make it, will have to check with the wifey.

Guess their site is temp down. Like Mullet said, largest gathering of street cars you will ever see. It is something that started small and has grown to something ridiculous. There are people that come from all over the US and last time I went there were people from other countries. I wouldnt suggest staying in the hotel where they have it though, that is if you plan on sleeping.

Ok, I'll try the site tomorrow and thanks for the heads up on the hotel. Luckily I grew up in Houston and am there on business quite a bit so I have many choices on where to stay
Hands down the best car event in the country. This will be the fifth year I travel 1200 miles one way from Minnesota.

I was looking and was very close but I decided to upgrade the TTG. I'm sure I'll be back in the market for an FGT in the next year or two.

Bryant will retire when im done with him....... JK HAHA and come on up. We will have some fun, i'm going to start painting my car @ the begining of Feb and get it ready for tx2k12 and the mile as long as all goes well I will be there. I should have a new blower from Procharger the 1st or so of feb that we will test and see if we can make enough to hang with the big boys..
