Anyone going to the TX2K12 Event this year?

I'll put more miles on my car in one week in TX then Sloss will put on all summer.

If you head to MN make sure you're here over the first Saturday of the month. C&C has grown pretty large.

  • Buy walkie talkies and Red Bull
  • Gas up an appropriate chase vehicle
  • Find the stash of Go Pro's
  • Call Alex (pics)
  • Let wife know I might be out of the house one night between 2:00 and 4:00 am.
  • Call attorney - in case I get sucked into the vortex.

In the chase/camera truck (SUV) most likely.

My GT is way to slow to play with you TT (or giant Procharger) guys.

Then again, if we are doing 0-30 runs, The X can hold her own I'd bet.

lol,my GT is high mileage,it almost has 800 miles on it.....lol

I think I have that many miles AT the Texas Mile in mine. ;)

You know it depreciates 20% when it hits 1000 miles.

Thats OK i dont plan on selling it ever:biggrin And with my other cars, a couple of bikes, a boat and only one day a week to enjoy them i dont get a chance to put many miles on the GT.

Just think GT is worth 25-35k more than new and its 7 years old:) You'll be ok putin as many miles as you want on it...
 
Back TTT,

I was thinking about cruising out to Frank in Steins on Friday night for the big cruise in. Anyone else going in thier GT? I may be the slowest one there but looks like a fun event. How early does one need to get there to get a spot? Never been to this event.
 
I plan to be there, although not in the GT.
