I picked up a 55 gallon drum of this stuff recently and have been talking with the guys inside Shell about this fuel for some time. I have always run C16 Leaded Race Gas in my car when I had it turned up all the way and I have ton's of data from the car at all sorts of modification levels. So this was essentially a test of how far I could push this fuel directly against C16. And in my opinion at least with my specific setup I find that both of these 2 fuels are relatively equivalent. The part that attracted me obviously is this fuel being unleaded and the decreased maintenance level from not having to use a Leaded fuel IE Plug changes, increased Oil changes, 02 sensor changes etc. The car didn't graph out as nicely as it usually does, I had a couple of coils on the way out during these runs that problem wasn't confirmed until the ride home. I can't complain one bit though the stock coils have survived this sort of power level for over 5 years, multiple standing mile events and 44,500 miles. Once I get everything functional again I'll be back on the dyno to continue my research.
