Hi - New Member with a question

Hi - New member to this forum but been around the others... Question - I am a big boy 6 2" 295lbs - I have a few cars that i fit in well - Conti Gt- 997 Turbo - 67 Shelby Gt500and one thats not so great F430 Spider - I have been eyeing a GT for a while now but cant find one to sit in - anyone else on this forum a gorilla like me? Or am I pursuing a "long shot" deal with these cars?

There are much bigger people than you with GT's. We have more than one member over 6'4 and have multiple members that are knocking on or exceeding your weight. Can't say if that means it will be comfortable or not though. Do a search and you'll find threads with guys chiming in of "large" sizes.
 
I'm a bit taller - 6'5, but also a bit lighter. Should be plenty of head and leg room for you. The seat back is a bit narrow for bigger folks. You can have it modified a little bit quite easily. I'm comfortable for about 2 hours then my back feels a bit pinched. If you are in N.Florida, happy to take you for a ride.

sorry all - should have been more specific - Im in Nyc - My turbo has the adaptive sport seats which i am very comfortable in if its anything like that?
 
This is Dom, (930Shark) giving me some tips before a run. He's easily 6'4 or 6'5. I don't know what he weighs, but he fits in his GT (the black one in the foreground) WITH A HELMET ON. I know because I saw him run it up to 344kph (the fastest car there) at the lasers during this summers' Race the Base.

Wow! and he looks bigger than me! would love to ask him... not many GT's in the for sale section huh? lol
 
PM him, he's a really great guy. And contact Shelby at Elite or one of the other forum vendors. Apart from Dr. Harms, we don't really wanna sell our cars. Shelby and the boys though, they've got LOADS of GT's for sale.

F GT Owners tend to lose weight, with all the attention from Ladies
 
I am a little over 6'4" (and handsome--sorry wrong forum) The GT feels like a Town Car compared to my Vipers. My son is 6'7" and can get in (but better not drive it)
 
Now for me it is just the opposite additional reason to own it.

My wife 5' (not 5'2" like she says) can't see over the wipers so she doesn't ask to drive....and no one hear is allowed to tell her they come off.

Attention I have had enough of! lol! I had 3 Lambos - 4 Ferraris - Porsches and the list goes on! but something about those Gt's just catch my eye!!

That surprises me. That's one tall man to fit in a 44 inch high car.
 
I keep a sock in my pants to make it look good!
