SoCal Custom Tuning and Dyno Day with Torrie - December 17

Hi Chuck,
Within the next couple of days, I'll get a schedule out so people can juggle slots around. I think we will likely have a pretty full event - with at least 5-6 GTs getting tuned and a few more for just pulls. It will be fun and it will be a great experience for all. I cornered moderator Rick today for a dinner recommendation as he is in the immediate area as well. He asked what kind of food I was looking for. I said, food? This is a GT event, the eating criteria is not based on the food but rather the size/security of the parking lot. As such, we will have dinner at the Blank Angus in Northridge. When I get a schedule sketched out, I'll have a better idea of a dinner time, but I'd like to make it somewhat early so people have plenty of time to return to the family afterwards. More soon. Stay tuned.

OK, everyone.... I modified Post 1 in this thread with some time slots. We will try to do similarly configured cars in the same batches. We will start with the TT's since I'll take Torrie down there along with AlohaGT's car. The lunch break will act like a buffer and if we need more time, we will order pizzas or something. Please try to be there a little ahead of your group slot - or let me know now so I can swap stuff around.
The dinner list has been updated in Post 1 as well. The more we have, the better!!
IMPORTANT: If you are getting a custom tune from Torrie, MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR SCT TUNER - assuming you have one. If you forget yours or don't have one, you'll need to buy one when we are there.

Hey Torrie, I just booked my room for Thursday & Friday nights. The hotel told me that you had already reserved the only deluxe suite with mirrored ceilings, heart shaped jacuzzi tub, and Chinese Love Swing. V & I had to settle for a regular room.
What time do you get in on Thursday? I'm going to unload my car at Kendal's place as soon as we arrive and the cocktail hour will start soon thereafter. See you in 3 days.

This looks like a fun day. Well my car is already godly fast for my standards so I may pass on the tuning but will sure try my best to join for drinks and dinner and meet everyone. BTW, it looks like it might be rainy this weekend and hopefully not Friday. Kevin will you do your No Rain Dance again? It worked last time. Where is The Dyno Shop in Chatsworth in case I get a hall pass during the day to swing by? Ahh I just went back and looked at Kendal's first post... Daahhh!!

Arya are you kidding me???? Rain forecasted??? With the weather we have been having??? Jeez....now I have to script a whole new "no-rain" dance number.
Oh well....it only took me about 14 hours to clean the GT after coming home from all the rain going out to Rally IV in Austin last year. I've learned enough to knock it down to 12.5 I think.

Thanks for rubbing it in. At the last Toys4cars day I realized I am such a slob with my Gt. After seeing yours and Terry's car mine looked like a real rally car after a muddy race. I gotta get a detail and plus I hate the rust on my brake discs.
