Last Ride in the GT today :(

Washed, cleaned, belly pans de-graveled & waxed, oil Changed. Stabil in the tank, Battery tender in the power-point. Insurance put in 'storage mode'...car cover goes on tomorrow. Winter will be coming to Michigan soon. ( I know...move to Arizona)
AJB (Andy)

Hey... me too!!! that is... until tomorrow :)

Fortunately, I never have to put mine away for the winter neither. The down side is I don't get to snow ski in my back yard.

I assume you guys set your tire pressure to 50lbs as well?

My past checklist was:

1) Stabil
2) Clean in/out
3) Tender
4) Tires at 50 psi
5) Windows cracked
6) Cover(s) on

This pict was posted before but this TOO is Arizona..........

Started my last ride today - left Woodhaven, MI (South of Dearborn), and began the long trip home. Got to Aurora, IL, today, as I'm stopping to have dinner with a long time friend from high school. 1,900 miles to go....

Ralphie

Friday - 10/15: Covered 726 miles to North Platte, NE; Today - 656 miles to Salt Lake City; Tomorrow - an easy 536 miles home!! Went over 46,000 on the odometer today.

Andy your so early......

Today we are headed to Church and then a fall cruise along the lakes, east side to Port Huron.

Of cource you and I can head to AZ and hide out in Tim's or Chip's garage...........I have a "special key" that fits all Gt's

Glad you de-V.I.R-ed it and I bet she looks like new again.

You're giving up way too soon. I drive my GT until the roads are covered with salt (or I should say just before they GET covered in salt). That's usually mid-December, some years it has been January (and I'm talking about Ohio of course, not my GT's in Arizona, those run year-round.)

Finally got home today about 4:30 pm. The last 50 miles into Mammoth was a gully washer - have never had the windshield wipers so fast! Good news was that the driving rain cleaned off all the bugs and road dust, and the highways and streets were totally cleaned off with only fresh water on them. Just toweled the car off, unloaded, and put on the cover - she's stored for winter in the heated garage (well, the wheels are a bit filthy, but I plan to put her up on stands over the winter, so I'll clean them when I jack it up). 46,590.1 miles in 4 summers: 2007 - 2010 (End of May to End of October)

Hey you should have Jason detail it while your in his town.
Then have him load it in the trailer with you in it and sleep the rest of the way home...just give him the address and tell him to wake you up when you get home.
