Car Week in Monterey/Carmel/Pebble Beach, and parking in the Ferrari corral, anyone?

Hi

just checking to see who is going to the Car Week. Also, for those who plan to attend the Historics at Laguna during the week, HOD sent out an invitation to purchase corral parking pass (with catered lunch by Tarpy's on Saturday) with FCA, which also set up a viewing tent at turn 5; the corral parking pass is good from Friday-Sunday. You'll still have to purchase tix to get in. See attached.

As I recalled, pretty much all corrals, regardless of marques, at Laguna are on either extremely thin "grass" or dirt (yes, even for the F-cars). The way I look at it is that with the corral parking it saves me a lot of walking/they feed me (and it would be fun to have a GT among a sea of Ferraris. The FCA members are a bunch of nice people too), and I don't have to take my GT go off-roading to get to the regular parking lot...... Are you taking your beast?

I have parked in the FCA corrall, and it was easy to get to, and right next to their tent.
The tent is a great spot for photos at the end of a straight, and slowing for the corner.
Worth every penny in my book.

Is this for Ferrari's only? What if we show up in a "hot" Ford GT?

Team Jeff and I are arriving this afternoon and will be in Monterey/Carmel until Monday. GT38 is also coming on Thursday from what I hear.

I wasn't going to take the GT but my daughter is coming with me so she wants me to bring it. I won't be driving it to the track but it'll be in Monterey!

Monterey Historics now known as Monterey Reunion

I drove the GT there but left it at the hotel & hitched a ride with a friend to the track. No driving on dirt at the track with my GT (well, on purpose that is).

It was cool to see Dan Gurney, Camilo, Steve Saleen, etc there.
