Where can I get those wheels?

I really like the rims and white lettered tires that were on the first yellow
ford GT that was unveiled for production. Anyone know where I can find them? Thanks! This would be the yellow Gt that was on stage when they said "Yep were gonna build em"

You wont find those wheels anywhere. I think I read an interview with C Pardo that the offsets wouldnt work with the production specs.

I've looked for the white letters on rubber as well. Good Year has it as an option on some tires but not the EagleF1s. I've been toying with the idea of a rubber paint for the tires. I'd be curious if anyone has tried it.

It's been done - use the search function on "tire paint"

I was just reviewing a 2002 Autoweek with the prototype on the cover. I love those wheels and tires. Wish we could get them.

Does anyone here know how many sets of a given design have to be made to make the effort "affordable?" I for one would be will to chip in if they could actually be made (with correct offsets and still look as killer) for a reasonable price per-set.

As Ralphie mentioned it has been done, if you have trouble seaching, simple solution, white liquid shoe polish (old autocross trick to mark the tires to dial in pressures, or numbers on glass)

They really cant be made to look anything like that as the hid assembly on the production cars we own, the offset does not allow it at all.

Can't one build a wheel with any offset necessary? They sure appear to have a lot of internal clearance, if anything maybe a potential fender rub here or there in present form.
