I hope you are ready for this.

Matech have created a Ford GT1 car as you will have already seen during 2009 at the various FIA GT races. As you will know this was an evolution from the existing and highly successful Matech Ford GT3 car. Now that the 2009 race season has finished, Matech are working on perfecting the GT1 car, ready for fierce competition in 2010, beginning at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

In the meantime, work has been going on behind the scenes, creating a new look for Matech Competition. Part of that is the creation of a new website, which will be updated with all the GT1 news as soon as it happens. So...click on the link and sign up to receive our newsletters.

What would be required of us to have a small Ford GT Forum logo somewhere on your cars during a race? Bony and I talked about it last year but he didn't think we could pull it off. What would it take??

Even if our logo was only 2 inches long we could say we helped sponsor the GT40s return to racing. How cool is that.

Get in line behind Tiger! Note that Tiger is probably willing to pay more than most on this board. A madam on the news claimed he has paid more then 60K a night. He makes Elliot look like a small time player.
