Another "UPDATE"

The white (I know that I will hear more grief) were just completed and as with the blue and the silver look stunning.

They will begin to ship tomorrow with it likely taking me a week of creating labels before they all leave.

I was told today that I should be able to begin shipping the black by early next week.

Mine were shipped directly to me unpainted. My understanding was they would be painted first. My mistake. Can I send them to you and where to be painted silver?
Also how can I pay you.

You are very welcome and the color is spot on; however if you find that yours do not match it is because your original vents were not properly painted; likely an old left over truck color was used. It is not often however I have seen this happen to the gals painted on a Friday afternoon.

Having shared this my gut tell me that your gal was painted on Wednesday which is the absolute best day as such there is no doubt that she is stunning

*** UPDATE ***

All of the blue, silver, and white vents have been shipped by FedEx. The only color that still needs to ship is of course "black"

FYI a direct signature is required for the receipt of these from FedEx because of the insured value of the parcel.

Received mine today (they were left at the front door :eek) and they look fantastic.

I guess we're still waiting for a total on the finish and shipping?

Thank you for the kind words; I will share them with all that have been involved as I was the Puppet Master for this phase of the project.

I still have a few more to get shipped out and once this has happened I will make known the associated cost and the PayPal link.

Any update from your powder coater regarding the clear powder coat application ? (i.e could the parts be powder coated clear without discoloring the part during the cleaning process.

Just received mine on Saturday, they are PERFECT. Great powder coat, and the fitment was dead on. I'll post pics once I wash the car. Thanks again for an EXCELLENT product!:banana

I just got my black powdercoated vents and they are a work of art. I knew that if you handled the color on these the result would be outstanding! It must be tough going to work each day knowing that you cannot exceed people's expectations. Your reputation is such that we all expect perfection and you seldom disappoint. You don't need me to blow any smoke in your direction but I had to post up and tell you that this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Petunia and Shadowman! Now, where the hell are my side vents! :biggrin

On a business note, please send me a PM in addition to posting here as soon as you have a tab for all of us. I would like to see all Forum Members accounts cleared within 3 days of you giving us a final tally of charges.

We approached each vent as if the only one and even more so as if being installed on my gal which certainly slowed the process.

At this time I have the final black pieces being completed with expectation to ship them by Monday and then add to this there were a few solo sets that arrived after the fact that are bing tended to as well.

I will have the cost associated with this project posted sometime next week.

Thank you all for the opportunity to be a part of this project.

BTW Chip; I am glad that you are happy.
