I've been using this stuff like crazy this year and having problems keeping it on hand. I noticed that the bottle says you can dilute it with distilled water. Has anyone does this and does it effect the out come of the results?

thanks

Purchase it by the case or contact Jason a forum member that owns AutoSpa and ask him about adding distilled water to it.

thus far I too like the Zaino products

Takes care

There is no doubt that by now you are on a first name basis; I think that this is wonderful and from the tone of your thread you are enjoying every minute of it.

All the best to you

Shadowman

BTW: maybe some stock purchases should be considered too

You takes care

You're using it on the car - right? :lol

A bottle a month sounds like a habit. :biggrin

You go through MORE than I do???

Are you using it on just one car??

I could understand adding water to Z-9 (The Leather Spray) because it is more of a spritz, but adding it to Z-10 (Cream Conditioner) just doesn't seem right to me. I don't have the bottle handy next to my breakfast cereal this morning :biggrin but does the back of it specify an aspect ratio or anything? I don't think I've ever noticed it unless they recently started adding it. My vote is no, especially if Zaino didn't specify an aspect ratio. The products I dilute are ones that are intended for it due to their high concentration, but not regular products such as this. Diluting it will obviously reduce it's effectiveness and from a manufacturer's point of view, if it could be diluted MORE and still be just as effective, maybe they would already do it to save $$$? Just a thought :thumbsup

The games on the back have proven too difficult :frown

Crap! I'm a moron ... I need to learn to not post when I am sleep deprived. :bored I meant Z-6. :lol

Using it on more than one car.... the weather here has been hell lately, rain then heat = pollen+ bugs + all kind of nasties. Three dark cars, two light ones and an anal owner. = Sal's gonna be buying another GT soon. :wink

Ok now lets reset this ... I do not have a cream conditioner problem although huffing z2 or z5 fumes might be leading me into temptation.....

Sorry guys .. I'll make sure I nap before I ask questions in the future. :ack

:rofl Has he introduced himself here or posted? I knew he had a GT but have never seen him post up. I'll bet he has his eyes on this thread, hi Sal :biggrin

Z-6 is another story, I suppose that could be diluted with distilled water but take into account that if they could dilute it even more during manufacturing, they likely would to make more money. It wouldn't be deceiving, because the product performs the same, right? By adding distilled water you're diluting the lubrication properties of the spray to begin with. Kind of stretching the product thin to keep the microfiber towel lubricated as it cleans up and slides across your panel. Z-6 isn't described as a product that works on various levels with dilution, such as an APC (All Purpose Cleaner) with different strengths. It has one job on one level which is to be used as a "Quick Detail Spray" or "Gloss Enhancer" and diluting it further than the manufacturer already has to begin with, may produce less than desirable results. You could do it, of course, if you're still curious.

Just do what I do and order 5-6 at a time and save on shipping :biggrin

DPGT have you tried using the Z8 product they came out with recently. This is better than the Z6 but MUST be used only on a cool (temp) car and not in the sunlight. This would also extend the amount of Z6 you are using.

I was just on the Zaino website looking at that. Not really sure which would be best so I sent an email. Need to order in bulk either way since I drive the cars ... then need a clean up when they get back. What I need is a consolidated garage with a sizable hepa system. :thumbsup soon ..... soon.... :willy:willy

Z-10 is a polish isn't it.

S, if you go for the Z-6 or Z-18 and pick up a case - I'll take 4 bottles :rofl

Sal needs to start naming these things ... before long we're gonna have Z- ~pi 500 b1.4 ! :eek

Maybe I should start using this stuff on my head! Cool thing is I am in the 1 day shipping ring. :thumbsup

Mad ... you gonna be driving over to pick those up or what? :wink

Meguiars last touch can be diluted 100% for use with clay bar, otherwise it's used full strength.

hey but "final touch" leaves a film on zaino that makes it look hazy. I tried all the dilutions on it that I could since I have two unopened gallons of it sitting on my shelf. Thats one of the problems when you buy in bulk, when you change products you have a ton of dust collectors on the shelves. :thumbsdow

You need to make it so that you can drive around with one of those bubble thingys :willy
