There was a guy at my house today that said in 2005 end of model year he could have bought a GT for $110K brand new. He said it was roped off and the sticker price was reduced. I told him bullsh__ ! He then told me he had (2) Hemi cars that were worth $500K each and I said maybe a few years ago in the height of the Hemi cars and they had to be convertible with low low mileage. I told him the Hemi droped in price to $150-$175K

Umm....and his point was?
IF he could have, he should have! And I sure as heck wouldn't be telling everybody how stupid I was for passing that opportunity. Dealer invoice on even the lightest equipped cars was upper 130's.....and I doubt very few, if any, brand new ones sold for even that low.

Again...his point was? Wouldn't be bragging that I was dumb enough not to have sold 'em (if they exist(ed) )

Congrats Billy on joining the family!

Also, that car cover bag from the factory doubles at a great duffle bag, plus, you know it fits in the trunk.

Enjoy and see you at the Rally! :thumbsup

:banana I called Ford and got the "Authenticity" kit for my GT. I got it today but what was strange is the serial number on my car is ....401052 which I received the window sticker but the Certificate say " the vehicle is number 1039 :confused of a build of 2022 and is #247 of 504 manufactured in Centennial White?

Does that make sense or did they process the document incorrectly!

The VIN numbers do not match the rotation numbers.

Thanks. I figured there was something that caused the number to be different. :thumbsup

Your vin is NOT your cars build number although it does give you a good idea of your cars build date....
