Well I am a Hook Em but happy to see the Ag's beat Bama

Am I the only Bama fan here? :lol I still can't believe with 1st and goal at the 6 yard line and 2 minutes to go, Bama couldn't get it into the end zone, not to mention their last costly penalty... That will be enough to take McCarron out of the Heisman running (probably to be replaced with Manziel). :bored Then again, after losing 6 of their best players last year, I'm actually surprised Bama had been playing as well as they had all season. Johnny Manziel played well, particularly in the first quarter, and had no turnovers. I am looking forward to watching Manziel down the road, but was actually more impressed with their defense. The 2 interceptions and shutting down Bama's running game sealed the deal after the Aggies impressive start.

If Bama was going to lose, I wanted it to be against Texas A&M. (That could have something to do with Chip getting me hooked on the Aggies after going to a Texas A&M game this year. :biggrin) They are a team that has cleaned up some of their weaker areas as the year progressed, and IMHO, has not gotten the respect or rankings they deserve this season. They definitely deserved the win!

Johnny Football

Gentlemen,

Texas A&M is a special place, football or no football, but that said, Johnny Manziel is the damnedest athlete in college sports today. A relatively small freshman wins the starting QB position and then proceeds to set record after record not just at A&M, but in the whole SEC conference. Trying to sack him is like trying to tackle a greased weasel. With the speed to outrun the fastest defensive backs, able to cut and change direction better than some of the finest tail backs, and able to throw with tremendous velocity and accuracy while running at warp speed in either direction, he is a true freak of nature. Check out the two video links below. TAM is a young team with lots of freshman and sophomore starters. Charley is a sophomore and plays on the Texas A&M Rugby Team as his 5'10", 170 lb body is about 120 pounds shy of the mark to play on the Football Team's Defensive line. I travel to every home game from Arizona and I'm having as much fun as Charley is. You can't go to a game there and not get caught up in the spirit of this formerly all male Military Academy that to this day has no cheer leaders, no baton twirlers, no flag girls, and no traditional marching band. There are 5 Corp of Cadets "Yell Leaders" and a Military Band/Drill Team. Gig 'Em Agg's!!!!! Oh, and in case you are wondering, BTHO stands for "Beat The Hell Outta" Alabama.

Game Highlights

Gentlemen,

If you missed the game, here are highlights (or lowlights if you're an Alabama fan). Some amazing plays and a typical game for Johnny Football.
