I got my tickets for Game 1. No luck for game 2(yet). I've had a pretty good run the past couple years. A couple NBA finals, a Super Bowl, now a World Series. Should be a lot of fun.

I can't believe the scalpers. They really need to remedy the big-game ticket situation. Why not just make 80% of the tickets available to people within a 50 mile radius? I hate to think of all the people around here who can't afford tickets when I see most of them on eBay with brokers in NY, NJ, and NV.

And I can't believe the season ticket holders! They have this "exchange" where they legally sell them and the organization gets a cut. Asking 6k a ticket for $250 tickets! I've got Pistons season tickets and I'd never try and ream people like that...

That's America ! Get as much as you can, seen it over and over again..

Let me know if you come across any other tickets Dave, I'm looking for (4) for Game 1 or 2. Chance of a lifetime to take our daughter, Ryleigh. I spent almost 2 hours this morning trying to get tickets, 2 laptops and 2 phones, no luck. Really a disappointment. Ah, we will be watching from the comfort and warmth of our living room. Go Tigers!!! :banana

Supply and demand. Just like Ford GT's and Shelby's.

Dave if someone offered you $6000 for your ticket would you give it up? :lol

World Series

DBK - FYI --MLB owns the Playoffs and World Series. Pricing is set for "face value". Local teams have NO say so in the ticket process.

That said - MLB & TV broadcasters use the Series to reward THEIR BEST CUSTOMERS. Those customers pay billions throughout the year on baseball advertising. And get priviledges such as blocks of tickets and hotel rooms directly from MLB. It's no different than the Superbowl. Other than there can be 7 games played. Or as few as four.

Get over to the Ritz. Maybe they can help you out. Tickets close to face value are out there. You just got to find them. Good Luck.

Good Luck to the Tigers too.

Well, if the weather breaks and it's the CARDINALS in, I have season tickets. We get two for one since we've been ticket holders before 1985. My last two palyoff games have been behind the left field foulpole. We alternate, our seats behind first and behind the foulpole. If you want to travel to St. Louis, I'll see what I can do. FJP

Well the Tigers do have this ticket exchange which allows season ticket holders to resell post-season tickets above face.

I'm not worried for myself. I'm know people who know people for virtually everything so I always end up with tickets. I think it's lame for the poor shmucks who've been sitting at the park for 13 losing seasons that have no chance to go...

Game 1-2-6 all successfully acquired. Mwuahahaha.

Series Ducats

DBK you scored bigtime. Hopefully for less than the cost of a GT. Enjoy.Jeff

We had a chance to tour the field before The Killers last night, ( I too know people, who know people who know the man, behind the man ). Enjoy it, it looks really nice :thumbsup Personally, I think this is more exciting for Detroit than the Superbowl! :banana If only we win, and keep all the cars on the streets with the wheel side down and unlit.

Good Game

Sorry about the outcome of the series. But game 5 was a great game . you should have been there.
