Saw red seatbelts on a Porsche GT2, looked cool.

Car was red with black interior.

Is webbing readily available or OEM only?

Think Safecraft has red among others. Sparco has red, check with LIVERMORE PERFORMANCE.

I think he is wanting to make his regular factory belts in RED. There are all different colors available for the 4 point harness set up. Not sure about changing the factory belts to red..., would look great, but not sure what all would be involved.

My SafeCraft racing harness is red with black lettering.

Now I too could go for a pair of OEM style seat belts in red; "no names or letters; if anything a black top stick along the edges.

I had them in my Porsche GT2; red seat belts with red top stitching on the interior.

So; who will pick up this ball and make it happen? I have completed this process in the past where we purchased seat belt material and as fixed the OEM ends and fed the retractors as such the net results were an OEM operating system; now before anyone says "what about "DOT" we did so for show vehicles and others shipped out of the country (USA) where the laws often times are much different.

There is a company where I live that restores seat belts for all makes and models of classic cars. The name of the company is SSnake Oyl. They also advertise in Hemmings. I know the owner of the company and they do outstanding work. If anyone is interstead you can contact Sam at SSnake Oyl at 903-526-4500. I am sure they can do the work , I bet they will need a patter out of someones car though to go by.

You might check with a Ford Dealer. Perhaps red belts are available for other models. I'm sure they all use the same latching mechanism, so if a red interior is offered, the belts may be interchangeable.

Red Belts

Ford no longer offers a red interior in any of it's vehicles. I tried to get Colletti to put red and blue belts in the SVT vehicles years ago. I guess the idea was to progressive. They did put those butt ugly red leather seat inserts in the Mustang Cobras. Thank god they built the GT.

As I wrote earlier Livermore Performance has red belts from many sources...

Just checked internet, looks like plenty of red seat belts, universal fit.
