As an engineer and lifelong wanabee machinist, it's admiration for the creativity and craftsmanship, to say nothing of the devotion to spend that much time. Just amazing!

As to running as well, that's incredible!

Sound reminds me of a racing Porsche firing up in the garages at Watkins Glen in the '70's.

Wouldn't it be cool to put one of these engines in a miniature replica car for the kids/grandkids? Maybe an 8 weber, 289/427 in a miniature AC/Shelby Cobra or in this case a convertible Porsche.

You like this more? Even a mini "FL1-A"

Cool. the first one even sounds like a Porsche boxer. fun.

If I get into that hobby all I can imagine is the first few times I crank it up it's cool then here comes the twin turbo build and then some spray and then a bigger shot of spray then WHAMMO! I gotta build it again.

sounds like a fun ride!
