What did the GT run at Nurburgring??

Hasn't happened yet. Made a lap in traffic under 8 minutes, driver said he's confident it'd hit a 7:40. It'll happen sooner or later...

did it in 7:52 min but he may not be the best driver;
on Doettinger Hoehe where he had the topspeed
of 286 km/h I drove allready 305 km/h in november 2005
but due to temperature (some icy places in the shadow parts) and a constructionarea I couldn`t do a whole lap with full speed.
7:40 may be a realistic number.

Wow! A Carerra GT did it in 20 seconds faster. That's a huge difference. I hope he drove in rain, traffic, and with a flat tire when it ran 7:52. A Murcielago has less hp (it's rated at more, but those cars are overrated and the GT is underrated), 400lbs heavier, and more of a tourer than a true sports car like the GT.
We need someone to really put the GT through the ring(er) and see what it will do.
