What A Day For Arizona GT Owners

Incredible.

As has already been said - the most amazing collection, he's clearly a true petrol head!! Fantastic. How typical of a true enthusiast to make you so welcome - you must have been absolutely buzzing.

Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph it and tell us about it - I would never have known......

I love that original GT - it just looks so 'right', a sort of mellow menace somehow. Quite beautiful.

It makes some of our 'collections' seem rather tame doesn't it!! :lol

It was a great day. I think there are two of the 6 Daytona
Coupes that are part of this collection. Also, one of the 2 Gurney Eagles that were built by Gurney for his F1 campaign in the 60s. Some say it is the most beautiful F1 car ever. It is an amazing collection.

blue moose, I am in awe.
You must feel honored to have gotten invited nto the hallowed chambers!
I am bordering jealousy as I look at these pictures.
I made it out to the Auction this year for my first trip ever. I must say it won't be my last. The enrgy level in the Bidders area was astounding. I can't imagine how you felt in the Claxton garage!

Michele was there, and she had a great time. Interestingly though she likes these cars (as well as our own) for different reasons than I do. I tend to be more interested in the design and building process, performance and history and Michele likes them for the style and appreciates them as fine works of art. Very interesting to see them through her eyes. More pics posted in gallery.

thanx 4 sharin the pix Blue :thumbsup what kind of car is that blue & yellow open wheeled racer in this pic you posted here that has the #2 on it? it looks like an old indy car that Johnny Rutherford drove

absolutely crazy cool...wow...

If the Daytona in Harley's collection is worth $12 Million, then what is the Prototype CSX2287 Cobra Daytona worth? Its owned by a Philadelphia collector, who payed over $4 Million for it in 2001. This is the same car that was known as "The Lost Cobra". Anyone have any ideas?

Answer, whatever the market will bear, I would say at least $4million.
Here is a site with some great cars, including the Ford GT's, I always try to attend their Christmas open house, missed it this year.
