Wall Art

After a friend visited last summer (GKW05GT), he was giving me grief about having so much art laying around. This winter I decided to do something about it and framed over 50 paintings and photos. I have one wall done, and wanted to share. I believe we got the large top left GT40 painting from Camilo back in 2003.

Holy cow! Looks amazing Jim!

+1 !! Love the 3D track layout.. What track is it ?? " I'm gonna need a bigger wall " :biggrin

It is a most impressive man cave especially when it's filled with his car collection. By the way he made most, if not all the frames on the wall. Not bad for a man with 43 posts:thumbsup

Awesome!

The track is Monaco. I had the privilege of being at the 2004 race. The small photos around it are pictures we took at various corners, and in the pits.

Fantastic display of wall art. Memories are made to view. Thanks Jim for sharing.......GO BLU......Also a small display..

Wow that is another great man cave!

Both are awesome!

Those are two really cool collections and spaces to match!

Looks fantastic Jim! Nicely done. Hard to believe you have all of that in little 'ol Mina, SD! I know you are very humble about it (which is certainly refreshing to see), but I'm sure others here would love to see you post some photos of the "rest" of your areas. You have such a great collection of cars!

I don't know Clint, you've got one of the most fabulous garages I've ever seen!

Hey Jim,

Question on the Rahal car. Is it a March 85C?

No, it's an 86A, an Indy Lights car. I painted it Rahal's colors for display

Thanks, that is very cool!

Couldn't tell for sure by the pics, the bodywork looked a bit different, sure couldn't tell the difference in scale/size.

Fantastic stuff! That Cobra trunk couch is awesome.
And Midnight Blu, more pix of the 67 Shelby. Superb color.
