Viper Info Requested

I have had 5 Vipers Gen 1 to Gen 4 ACR. Agree, they are fun cars. Burn outs, and just being a hooligan is what these cars are all about. That's what I love about Vipers. They are just fun. I agree they are crude and ride terrible and follow the road, but for money. You can't beat the looks and fun factor!

Exactly

I love my Viper. 03 with rear coupe conversion and ACR paint scheme, carbon fiber hood and trunk. Done by Flatout who use to post on here when he had his FGT.

There is just something about a convertible. I need one but my wife doesn't think so.

Well, to be honest that's my wife's car. It was her 40th Bday present. She lets me drive it sometime!!!! Buy one for her then see how she likes it. I don't know any woman who doesn't like a convertible. Buy it for her then you get your convertible!!

My wife does fuss at me sometimes when she comes home and I've gone for a spin and I get the "what are you doing in MY car?"

Nice car!

Yea, the guy who did the custom work "flatout" on the FGT and Viper forums did a great job. The hood is an upgraded Gen4 carbon fiber hood and he did the rear coupe conversion (the rear of the roadsters are plain unlike the coupes). You can't tell from the pictures, but the center section "fangs" in the front is clear coated carbon fiber weave and the center trunk is clear coat carbon fiber weave to match the front.

Best looking 'vert I've ever seen......

I can make it faster !

Torrie after you make my GT faster!!!

I can work within that. Viper will be easy though no dyno required I have done ton's of those. You would just need a Dodge programmer that I have here on hand.

Torrie, it has an SCT tune and it made 467 HP and 471 torque on a Mustang Dyno. It has headers, exhaust, upgraded throttle body, etc. You can squeeze more out it than that?

I have no idea, I was not aware of that fact nor can I see the calibration or run data.

Damn I miss my old car :D Still thrilled to see you and your wife are enjoying it!

Hey Torrie :). Joe Honeycutt did the SCT tune on that car at LMR a few years ago. Made 498 SAE with his tune.

As for the new stuff you know I am chomping at the bit for you to tune my new TA. As for the remarks about Vipers and being a Hooligan in them, I guess that's fun but I like working it on the road course where it really shines. The ACR's and Gen V cars are superb on track. I have owned both, and an FGT and the track oriented Vipers are faster and more fun on the road course.

Andy, I love your high quality photos!!!! Notice I still use your picture of "your car" instead of any I have taken. That last picture looks "mean".

Just thrilled that car went to such a good home!
