Had a chance to attend the event with some friends and let me just say...wait until you see the actual episode on SPEED TV!

I took some pics and SPEED Channel made a teaser video for now.

Wow. Very nice. That viper has soo much power.

wow nice pics, those cars are amazing, when is that episode gonna be on tv?? i like that green viper color. that color would look good on a GT

2 GT's....Forum members?

I see they were not all new cars. Looks like a 73-74 Pantera is in the field. What were the rules?

SPEED said the episode will air in 3 weeks (as of last weekend). It's part of their Supercars Exposed series.

Don't believe there were rules. I was invited and invited the 4 Lamborghinis out to play.

Thanks for the link. I love the Supercars Exposed series and can't wait to see this episode.

For those who missed SPEED's "Supercars Exposed" TV episode last night, here is some footage of the races. We brought out the 4 Lambos to play. Also there is in-car footage from the Superleggera who was so close to being in the FINALS!

The conditions looked dangerous to me...dust on the surface, and lack of lights except headlights...more than one car spun out...very dangerous...

I hope they decide on a daylight contest if any are scheduled in the future...

That silver Porche was sure fast in the last contest...

The Ford GT's were the best looking...

It is amazing how a 40 year old design , no traction, no ride leveling, no all wheel drive car can keep up. The gt is just the real deal, BUT THE LAST RUN IT THE PORSCHE HOLY #@$%^ THAT WAS UNREAL:thumbsup GTJOEY 1314

Thank you. That was great :cheers

2 GT's....Forum members?

That was Don from Cs&C.

I watched it, it did nothing for the GT's. It made us look bad. Don's car but Don was not the driver, ( I wish he was)The other GT Driver did not know whether he was going left or right. The problem with the GT's came down to the divers and they made us look bad.:thumbsdow

The Green Viper was killer. I would buy that car.:thumbsup

VERY disappointing!:thumbsdow

The GT's should have had a much better showing, but the GT 1000 was too much car for the driver and the driver of the other GT was LOST on the track.

I hope all of us get to ride with Mark McGowan at Rally III and see what these cars are really capable of :banana Remember El Toro:thumbsup

LOST is a good way to describe it

Guilty, the blue GT at the event was mine and I wished I could have been at there. The GT was set up for what was promoted as a top speed event and we were not set up correctly for the course. No excuses, no sour grapes, we were simply out driven!

Next time we won't go to a gun fight with a nuclear weapon..... On a brighter note, check out the new Road & Track article on page 20.

Now thats more like it,
235.4!! Congrats:thumbsup Wow, these cars just keep getting better. Great to see the GT still making it into the mags! Hope to see you (and your GT 1000+) at rally III.:banana
