does anyone know if gt500 valve covers can be made to work on GTs?

It appears not. I have a brand new set that I wanted to use, I think they are more attractive. The Cam gears on the GT500 are smaller diameter and the valvecovers reflect that. I was told there is not enough thickness to relieve it either. :bored

Now if you are rebuilding the motor, you can use the smaller gears and chains from what I was told. Then they fit.
