Hi guys got an opportunity to put 0088 up on a lift to see this beauty from under neath.
Wow there is some very cool and interesting things happening under here.

Putting a thick wrap on my underside. Can't stand the thought of beating it up even if people can't see it.

The underside craftsmanship still blows my mind. Ironic that Ford is doing all it can to ensure these cars are driven. If ever a car was created that deserved to be a museum piece it's the NFGT.

Not that I endorse that treatment, but funny to think of all the premium Euro cars that are commonly treated with kit gloves and barely used as real cars while the new GT is a much higher grade of build quality -- and Ford wants them all OUT THERE (and has found plenty of willing accomplices).

My plan is to double wrap the under side. The entire car will be wrapped as well with paint protection film.

I funny to see how that Le Mans Blue looks different in all the pictures you've posted.
I suppose the front shot of your car on the lift, is close to how it looks IRL?

PS: Are you going "full 1968 Le Mans livery" with all the decals like on your garage door or just the orange stripe?

Planning on full livery to car #7 from 1969.
Yes the blue in certain light seems to be lighter than what it is.
Should all be done by mid October.
