two questions ?

back on the oil pressure issue, i installed a new oil sending unit and still no oil pressure, also checked the belt to the oil pump and it looks like new ! i then made up a hose with 1/4" fitting and a pressure gauge i had here in my shop and installed it, started up engine and had 90 psi when still cold and down to 60 psi when engine warmed up to 140 degrees - i still did not have any temperature i could feel in the intercooler radiator or intercooler water pump
or intercooler hoses ! how can i be sure the intercooler water pump is operating and could i have hurt anything by letting car idle approx ten minutes
if it wasnt operating (intercooler water pump that is) as the engine temp only went to 140 degrees before i shut it down - and by the way here is the "intercooler" ?

thanks

steve

the intercooler pump on both of my car start pumping soon after you start the car, all you have to do is open the cap to the reservoir for the supercharger (the tank closest to the outside of the car) then just look inside for movement of water.

thats what i was afraid of as i looked inside the degas bottle as you reccomend and there is no movement of fluid !

and could i have hurt anything ?

and could i have hurt anything ?

if the engine starts and runs fine I doubt if you have hurt anything youre pump may be bad or it may be a fuse?
