Two questions on Ford GT recall items

I just sold my '911 Speedster this afternoon, so i am close to pulling the trigger on a Ford GT. here are two more questions for the board:

1). can someone list all of the recall repair items that Ford GT's have gone through?

2). is there a time period in which Ford dealers are required to make recall repairs? in other words, is there a statute of limitations on recalls?

the reason i am interested in these two items is that i will likely buy a very low miles car and if the recall items have NOT been fixed by the previous owner(s), i need to know if Ford will make the repairs at no cost to me when/if i buy a GT.

thanks.

The ONLY broad maintenance that WAS but is no longer covered by Ford is the replacement of the axle bolts. In the odd case that this was not done to the particular car that you may purchase, the upgrade kit is $200 and the installation is about the same ($200). So, for the grand total of $400 you have one heck of a car.

There were several TSB's for the car, the most important concerning the half-shaft axle bolts. If the car is out of warranty, the time period has expired for the free fix. The TSB's and a very long thread on the axle bolts are here. Most of the TSB's concern very early cars. Go to your local Ford dealer and they can give you an OASIS report on what has been done to the car under warranty. Doing the axlebolts is not a big deal.

early 05 zins may develop rear seal leaks. Dealers fixed with a speedy sleeve. :ack

FYI, when you read the VIN, the last four digits indicate the build sequence of the car, with a few very minor variances. In other words, if they built 2000 cars in 2006, car #1800 is going to be much later production than #200. Some of us think that just maybe the later production cars were a little more sorted than the earlier cars. However, that is probably more superstition, once the early 05 troubles were resolved.
