Interesting, the first was about 3K over...not too bad...the second was a used vehicle...hhmmm..maybe certain color combos are drying up?

That second one has a price of over $11K over original sticker. I wonder if that sale really happened.

least available are no stripe cars of any color, very few black left if any.. Most buyers will be looking for low mile unmolested cars and should pay top dollars for them.IMO I had a line on another all black 06 but seller raised price on me to 185K

I know of one 2006 all black no stripe that is available somewhere around MSRP. I seriously considered it but I'm passing. If some one really wants it and is serious, PM me..

I don't have a problem with the 1st one. It's new, it's a heritage.... there are not very many new cars around....

But the second one is a bit different. It is an early build (9/04), used, 250 miles, short warranty etc... It seems a tad overpriced to me.

What I think is important is the result of this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...RK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=320089684091&rd=1,1

2 months ago a yellow 4 options with 7,500 miles was struggling to get $138k (it was eventually sold on e-bay for 139.5k I think after a specialized in exotic cars dealer bought it from the original seller).

So this Tungsten sale is good news.

I still think that if you drive these cars and put miles on them the price will go down.

Maybe not by 2$ per mile as I first thought. Still these cars were never meant to be a financial investment, at least for me.

I'm in Phoenix this weekend for the Classic Carraige Car Auction. I just saw a new 05', low build number (less than 100) Yellow, stripes, Mac, std wheels get a bid at $175,000.oo + a 7% buyers fee. The car was a no sale due to the $200,000.oo owners reserve.

Steve,

Did you get the VIN on that one? I may have sold it to him?

As I recall it was in the 0090's. It was stated the car was the 17th GT produced which didn't make much sense.:confused

If it was really the 17th produced it had to have been 0008...

I don't think the first Vin numbered cars made it to the public. The Stillen car is #0015 and was a test mule logging 20,000 miles, then later sold to be raced.

In my opinion, it is worth every penny. The buyer should pay 175 now instead of waiting and paying over 200 next year.:cheers

The 18th and 19th GTs produced were made on 7/21/2004. Only two GTs were made that day, one was yellow, one was black. The yellow one was VIN 0008. So actually that yellow couldn't have been the 17th made but may have been the 18th. Sorry, I don't know what "the Stillen car" is, but #0015 was red and was made on 9/17/2004.
