Anyone who has read the specs knows that our Ricardo transaxles have triple cone synchronizers for 1st - 4th, and double cone for 5th - 6th. But what does that mean and how does that give us one of the best shifting transmissions in existence?

An interesting and understandable explanation non-engineers can understand.

Great find, Gary.

But I think I'll just stick with " one of the best shifting transmissions.... ), and ask you to summarize the explanation to me at the Rally. ( I'll buy the drinks. )

Wow, I just read all that..............I'm ready for a nap.
