Tranny Fluid Change

I did the first one at about 1500 miles, I am at 9K miles, just wondering with the common small shavings you find at 1500 what the next mileage guys reccommend servicing the tranny again. Been 60 an Sunny here in Tahoe since Christmas and have had the car our in January.

It was 79 one day last week down here in the valley from you GTMikey. Too hot. We need rain! I'm not sure about the intervals for fluid changes. Are you listening BlackIce? EP?

Lots of threads on this subject, but you'll find that the first change takes out all the impurities and shavings from the initial assembly. You'll find that the next time, the fluid will look like new. I change mine about every 15,000 miles.

You say it so matter of factly.....and yet most GTs have not seen their first 15K on the odometer! :biggrin

I changed mine at 10K and will now change at 31K. Owner's manual says to do at 30K.
