TOP GEAR strikes again.....

I'm a big fan of Top Gear. I'm a sucker of the frat boy comedy and familiar old delivery lines. I don't let it waste space in my head when they go for the low hanging fruit at the "colonies" expense. It's their schtick and I've come to expect it. It's like a long time buddy that compliments you by insulting you. You know he cares because he continues to poke. You know they love the GT because they continue to bring it up in their show.

Cha-Ching!!! :cheers:bow

The Robin Reliant? Something like that.....when he took that first turn I almost spit out my dinner that was sooooo funny.......

The Brit show is in Australia. The end of the show is a "soccer" match with 4 Robins trying to score a giant soccer ball. it was hilarious.

That darned car needs 'outriggers'. No question.

I don't know if anyone watches Wheeler Dealers, but it shows that an automotive TV program can be entertaining and informative without being on a Junior High level.

The problem with wheeler dealers is that they always barely make a profit and never include the cost of labor so it is just an obvious fairy tale. Plus the big guy is always so enthusiastic that he just gets on my nerves.

Edd China is a multiple Guinness record holder for world's fastest garden shed, toilet, and various types of furniture. He's been on Top Gear as well. I think he and Mike make a great team.

Barely making a profit and not including the cost of labor is the story of 99% of car restorers. :)
