They complain about the suspension since most of us big mustang and drag racing fans were happy when the switched back to a solid axle. Doesnt the car also have 13 inch Brembos? The GT500 is a kick ass car to say the least.

The chassis dyno was so lame. They hit 447 hp at the wheels at said that Ford is lying. Of course hp is down at the wheels. I cant believe them.

Clarkson should have put his beloved Ferrari F430 on the dyno to see how much less they have at the wheels. In the past Ford got burn on claiming too much horsepower for Mustangs. Now Ford seems very conservative on its HP ratings. 447 HP at the wheels means the driveline loss of less than 12%. Not bad. The actual HP is probably higher.

The clip did show the poor handling of the Shelby 500. For that reason I would go with Z06 vs. a Shelby 500. The time around the track was really bad compared to a Z06! I was suprised at the lack of a limited slip differential on the Shelby. Is that true?

The Shelby has a limited slip and traction control.
