That is cheating EP. You haven't lived until you have wielding a 5lb lead mallet inside a 15" rim, in the dark, on the side of the road, in the rain.

Nice car. Steering wheel is on the wrong side of the cockpit.

'Darned nice car, no question, '12...but, I want a 427 (620 hp/592 tq) powered Superformance unit if I go the GT40 route (as opposed to a Gen 5). This one's a 302 based, 380 inch powered RCR. If I weren't so darn stubborn and dead set in my ways, I'd be reeeeal tempted to snap this car up regardless!

'Appreciate the heads up, sir.:thumbsup

No problem.

Do you want an FE 427 or a Windsor 427?

Hasta be a "Windsor" since I want a MKI. (You're undoubtedly aware that an FE won't work in a MKI...'too tall for the headers to clear the rear deck for one thing.)
And in reality, the engine will only be 'patterned' after a Windsor since I doubt there'll be a single FORD part in it! (Dart Alum block, AFR alum heads, blah, blah, blah.)

Anyway, all that assumes I don't opt for a Gen 5 instead. The info on the Gen 5 is supposed to be available in August some time according to what I've been told. Whenever that actually happens, I'll probably then assume GTJoey's "The Thinker" pose for another month weighing the pros and cons of each before finally going off the deep end one way or the other. (That extra month(?) won't matter at all since the soonest I could receive either car would be next spring or summer anyway.)
