Hi guys,
I am overwhelmed that in 6 days, sitting here in Southeastern AZ, over 1400 of you have read my thread on the data I've been keeping up with MOSTLY from eBay. (Autotrader online as well but mostly eBay).
Your responses have been informative and very helpful especially realizing that what I "see" might not always be the best way to present data. I think most of us will agree that ACTUAL SOLD prices are REALLY what matters even if I see those out there in eBayland bidding on cars whose Reserves do not get met, from those with motives which will never be known. So I think at this point, reporting on GT auctions that do NOT meet a reserve, (No sale) is a bit pointless.
To that end, what I would like to do is UPDATE, weekly, in a different format, right here on the GT Forum. You all have indicated many more variables which I will include in the new "format", space permitting. Year, color, date sold, mileage, sold price (exclusive of tax, prep, etc.), condition, new vs. used, Dealer/Private individual seller, etc.
So.......let me hear from you in this thread. Over the next few days I will take one and all suggestions and starting next week begin the new thread.
All best, and a Very Happy Thanksgiving to you all and your families!
Kim
PS. White is still the fastest color!
