The Ford GT is Ready to Race

You are correct if you are referring to Paul Prudhomme. However, I suspect Dr. Dill was referring to me and my sons who will be cooking jambalaya for sure and possibly gumbo. Have not made the rest of the menu yet. :willy

Mike... Where do we make our reservations? :party. :cheers

Just curious... during a 24 hour race... do most stay all night or come and go? Never been to a 24hr race before.

If you're staying in a camper in the infield you sleep and get up go watch some more racing. It's an incredible experience to be at Daytona.

I told Heidi everyone stays up the entire 24 hours & never leaves the track! LOL. Let's not tell her until she finishes her 8th cup of coffee!

PS The photos are fabulous! Let's go racing Ford!

How about we tell the Lady's that there is a contest to be one of the first GT owners. They have to stand by there GT in the Ford car corral and touch it at all times throughout the weekend and the last on standing wins. Has to be a wife of the owner... LOL We could take our own bets and see who really loves us.

Lesley said "these all sound like great Ideas Honey" then followed up with "I'm not even going". Hope the house isn't emptied and all my shit missing when I get back.:bored

At Le Mans we tried to stay awake all night but nobody was able to do it. Everybody ended up sleeping somewhere.

:agree: Agree completely Chip and Shoboat. This is why I've rented a motor home for Le Mans. 2 years ago I parked my coach at the inside of Nascar turn 1 (site 77) for the Rolex 24hr and it was a fantastic experience.

Great idea about caravan! Do you need to reserve a camping spot?

Steve, Great talking with you the other day. :thumbsup
We tried to reserve a spot at Daytona, but they have been sold out for some time and do not fill cancellations. They said check Craig's list. We have a spot nearby so we can still walk to and from the track. currently in Texas and excited to get to Daytona!
