Best hotel?

What happens in the trailer stays in the trailer!:lol

:lol :lol :lol

Mullet & Soroush,

As you are both fairly local to this event, would you help us out-of-towners with a suitable suggestion for accommodations? What's the best hotel to stay at and perhaps you can steer us in the direction of the areas better restaurants. Post up so we can all take advantage of your thoughts. Thank you.

2-3 small hotels in Beeville, then next choice would be Goliad and last choice is Victoria (these are from closest to furthest). I think the Mile website has them listed. CALL NOW, if they are not already full in Beeville.

Don't know the places to eat around the Mile, it's 150 miles from my house. 5 star you probably won't find around there.

Beville or George West----- best bet as there are 2-3 new ones just out of town.Tomy Hamon

as long as there isn't a strong headwind you will be good to go for 200+mph.

Thats my goal so we will see !

I've stayed here 4 times and it's very nice. Has a great breakfast included also.

The best place to eat is Chili's (it's a very small town) but there is a very nice locally owned restaurant with all kinds of stuffed animals hung on the walls (you'll feel right at home) but I can't remember the name. Any local at the hotel can tell you where it is.

Post #25 are the two newest Motels in the area so book quick. There's not much as these are small towns. Places to eat are even fewer. Victoria is largest town in Area with usual chain. I'll be going down on Sat just to support Group and back same day. Tomy Hamon

I'm in. Now if I can just get the car ready in time.

No problem.

OK......I have no driver training. But I am staying at the Beeville Holiday Inn Express! They are almost sold out. Who else is staying there?

Chip

Im driving up saturday morning and only staying for the day, I have to get back by saturday night.

As some of you guys know the Mile does not do reserved parking. I have a hookup with the promotor and she is granting me reserved parking at the 1 mile marker. This is where I always park and can say it is the best spot to see all the action. I can only get reserved space at the 1 mile marker........no place else.

What I need from anyone that is running a car at the Mile and wants/needs a reserved parking space is:

type of car
license plate #
support vehicle info which is RV's/trailers/tow vehicles (type and plate number)

Please pm me this info.

I will be there with a 31 foot Class C Winnebago Coach, (Ford of course) and 20' white trailer in tow. I will send plates to you soon.
:thumbsup

Dammit, I checked, and registration is full. Anyone have an extra slot open?

I will ask Shannon if she can let you in. cross your fingers.
